Friendships in nature are a bit tricky because the concept of friendship being something that is abstract enough not to be an active part of what people would often think of as the “natural order,” however.. there are a great deal of relationships that could be thought of as mutually beneficial “friendships.” Any animal that pollinates a plant and the plant it pollinates (i.e. bee and clover), Any natural structure that give shelter to another living thing, (i.e. tree and the bird) and then there are some classic examples that are a little more of a reach but poetic, such as the sun and moon dancing through the sky chasing each other, and the sky and sea meeting at the horizon like old friends.
