I am looking for a camera with great depth of field, easy to use, and focuses well. I mostly take nature shots so I want the trees to actually look like trees. I am frustrated with my Nikon point and shoot because a lot of my nature shots look washed out and the trees look like a watercolor. I set it on landscape and choose the “vivid color” setting but the colors do not look vivid.

Which are the Institutions for training in this field? What are the qualifications required? What is the average salary of a nature photogropher?
